Every night I sit down with my daughter and we partner read a book of her choosing. There are so many great children books to pick from, but I would have to say that some of my favorites are written by Dr. Seuss. The illustrations and wonderful rhymes come to life in so many of the classics, Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Fox in Socks, Oh, The Places You’ll Go! and the list goes on.
So, in memory of Dr. Seuss and the literary genius that he was!
You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself in any direction you choose.
You’re on your own, and you know what you know.
And you are the guy who’ll decide where to go.
